i've been a fan of alec's for a long time. I have a lot of his movies on tape. It's amazing how he can be seen all over the world. There is one thing you may have forgotten about; He did star in a daytime soap opera called "The Doctors". It was pretty good. I liked it. I can't remember how long it was on. I think it was before his "Cutter to Houston" series. I think it came on the ABC Network. He also appeared in Knots Landing (a primetime soap opera on the CBS Network) for a season before they killed him off the show. Just thought you'd like to check into it and add it to your page. I have enjoyed Mr. Balwin's work. He selects very interesting and varied roles for himself. I would be so easy just to play the leading man, and I am sure that is what is often offered. I appreciate that he doesn't fall into that trap, for the money and fame.
I also admire Mr. Baldwin and Ms. Bassinger's love and concern for their family. My feeling is this, as a celebrity Mr. Baldwin is open for scrutiny about his work and social and political engagement. However, his private life, his wife(in the same context) and his child are off limits. I would hate and would not tolerate such pushiness into my life, nor would most of the people who read that junk.
Just keep making good movies and I'll be happy.
